A mind-hopping narrative-action prototype with synchronized character abilities
Mindscaper is a third-person action-platformer prototype created in Unreal Engine 5 Blueprints as part of a Game Design Masters team project.
In this mind-bending journey through fractured memories and alternate identities, players switch between two playable characters — each with unique combat abilities — to overcome challenges in surreal cyber-fantasy environments.
🎮 My Role (Combat Designer / Programmer):

Designed and implemented combat components for both player characters (Jack & Hyde)

Built ability systems including resource interactions (Mana & Focus), cooldowns, and visual feedback

Developed in-game UI for combat state display, health/resource bars, and switch indicators
